WJLA-7 in Washington DC ran a story last week of an elderly couple in Maryland paying $80,000 for a timeshare they never intended to buy from National Harbor Resorts. This week they found an elderly couple in Virginia that walked away from a timeshare presentation owing $1099 a month for 120 months – that’s well over $120,000!!!

Although Wyndham refunded the monies paid, you have to wonder how many others have walked out of a timeshare presentation with huge bills. It’s a shame that thse types of reports are coming during such difficult economic times.
