Westgate Resorts is facing a lawsuit from former marketing employees for unpaid wages from the promotion and sales of timeshare units at the Planet Hollywood Towers. The two companies had partnered into the venue to sell timeshare units. Westgate Resorts has denied the allegations in its response. Planet Hollywood has not been named in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit charges violations of both Nevada and Federal labor laws, alleging that there was a failure to pay minimum or overtime wages as well as unpaid wages. The filing occurred in U.S. District Court of Nevada in April. The case in on-going.
